The proposed project will require the issuance of a Solid
Waste Facility Permit (SWFP) and possible other federal, state and local approvals.
In order to provide long-term solid waste disposal services, the San Joaquin County
Department of Public Works proposes revise the NCRC&SL SWFP to increase the
maximum disposal tonnage limit from 825 to 1,200 tons of refuse per day; increase the
incoming vehicle trip limit from 600 to 850 vehicles per day; increase the hours of
operation and other activities; and increase the landfill height from 195 feet above mean sea
level (msl), to 420 feet above msl, which would increase the available disposal capacity by
PRINTED ON PAPER CONTAINING MINIMUM So PERCENT POSTCONSUMER FLRF.RS
