Alaniz, John [EHD]
From: andy@bagleyenterprises.com
Sent: Tuesday, May 4, 2021 10:12 AM
To: Myers, David [PW];joe@bagleyenterprises.com; 'Ann Marie Addler';
dennis@bagleyenterprises.com
Cc: Myose, Kevin [PW]; Alaniz,John [EHD];Allen, Lowell [OES]
Subject: RE: Information - Diesel spill at the Ag Center fuel island
Attachments: SJC Agg 1.JPG; SJC Agg 2.JPG; SJC Agg 3.JPG; SJC Agg 4.JPG; SJC Agg 5.JPG
CAUTION:This email is originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe.
Hi Dave,
Here are the photos I took from yesterday...as you can see the spill was not that bad. I was able to confirm that the tank
did not overfill. It's my suspicion that the release came from the delivery drivers fueling hoses. Please see below a
recap of events after your call reporting the spill to us from yesterday.
After receiving the call from you I immediately called the site contact Lowell Allen from OES to let him know I was on my
way to evaluate the spill and assist in any cleanup efforts if needed. Upon arriving at site I met with Lowell and we
proceeded to examine the spill area and take pictures. Please see attached photos ...The fuel delivery driver had already
left but had managed to clean up the spill. It's my estimation that not more than 5-10 gallons was released in three
different areas from the drivers hoses...two on the black top pavement and one on the drive pad area where the drain to
the separator system is located. Lowell and I did note the Veeder Root monitoring system did show a High Product
Alarm and the remote alarm light was signaling at the tank but I was not able to actuate the audible alarm.
I will follow up with recommendations shortly.
Thank you
Andrew J Bagley
Project Manager
Bagley Enterprises, Inc.
2370 Maggio Cr#4
Lodi, CA 95240
Main Office Phone: 209-367-4800
Cell Phone: 209-210-7744
Fax: 209-367-5424
CA License#774802 A,HAZ, B, C-61, (D-21, D-34, D-40)
SDVOSB, SB-DVBE Supplier# 1769831
GSA Contract#GS-07F-0462Y
CMAS Contract#4-20-56-0051C
D I R# 1000012690
Email: andy@bagleyenterprises.com
Web:www.bagleyenterprises.com
1
