According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer (sjmap.org), the Site is zoned AG-
40, General Agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This zoning
designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of
commercial agriculture enterprises" (San Joaquin County Community Development
Department).
Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage
Existing Septic System
One septic system is currently located on the Site to serve the modular home (Plate 3).
The old house also has a septic system, which will presumably be demolished with the
house.
Proposed Septic System
No new construction is anticipated.
On-Site Septic Permit History
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department septic permit files were
searched for the Site address. Five septic permits were identified:
February 1970 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. A new
100-foot leach line and 33-inch diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pit were
added to the existing system (8200, off-site at adjacent property to west).
March 1976 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. Two 33-inch
diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pits were added to the existing system (8200,
off-site).
September 1981 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. Two
seepage pits were added to the existing system (8200, off-site).
February 1970 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. A 66-foot
leach line and a 42-inch diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pit were added to the
existing system (8450).
January 2021 permit for new septic system at modular home. The system
includes a 1,200-gallon septic tank, three 55-foot leach lines, and three 42-inch
diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pits. The permit notes that a septic
destruction permit for the old house's system has been filed as well.
These permits have been included in Appendix 4 of this report.
LOGE 2062 Page 2
