According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer (sjmap.org), the Site is zoned AG- <br />40, General Agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This zoning <br />designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br />commercial agriculture enterprises" (San Joaquin County Community Development <br />Department). <br />Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage <br />Existing Septic System <br />One septic system is currently located on the Site to serve the modular home (Plate 3). <br />The old house also has a septic system, which will presumably be demolished with the <br />house. <br />Proposed Septic System <br />No new construction is anticipated. <br />On-Site Septic Permit History <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department septic permit files were <br />searched for the Site address. Five septic permits were identified: <br />February 1970 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. A new <br />100-foot leach line and 33-inch diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pit were <br />added to the existing system (8200, off-site at adjacent property to west). <br />March 1976 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. Two 33-inch <br />diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pits were added to the existing system (8200, <br />off-site). <br />September 1981 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. Two <br />seepage pits were added to the existing system (8200, off-site). <br />February 1970 permit for addition to existing residential septic system. A 66-foot <br />leach line and a 42-inch diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pit were added to the <br />existing system (8450). <br />January 2021 permit for new septic system at modular home. The system <br />includes a 1,200-gallon septic tank, three 55-foot leach lines, and three 42-inch <br />diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pits. The permit notes that a septic <br />destruction permit for the old house's system has been filed as well. <br />These permits have been included in Appendix 4 of this report. <br />LOGE 2062 Page 2
