Called the number and spoke <br />with Ben Best, collector for the City of Stockton. He was trying to contact an <br />environmental controller (controller) regarding a couple ounces of transmission <br />fluid that was leaking from a car. Ben said that he wanted to speak with the <br />controller first before updating me. Sent a text to Ben asking him to call me after <br />he had discussed the event with the controller. <br />9:00 p.m.: Called Ben to discuss the incident. The leak was at 1611 Bonaire, <br />Stockton CA. Ben placed absorbent underneath the car and was going to have <br />Stockton public works clean it up the next day. Confirmed that no storms drains <br />were impacted. <br />04/02/2021 Left for site with Carol Presto (EHS). Arrived at 9:42 am. White Toyota Corolla <br />(license plate 4VZC086) parked on the south side of the street across from 1608 <br />Bonaire Circle was observed with a damaged rear bumper and sand located <br />behind the rear passenger tire. Leak appeared to be coming from the <br />muffler/exhaust pipe of vehicle. Vehicle was not actively leaking at the time of <br />arrival. No storm drains or water ways were impacted by release. Returned to <br />office at 9:50 am. <br />BAKER <br />04/02/2021 Received text message at 8:05 am from John Alaniz (SR. REHS) regarding page BAKER <br />he received. Ben Best of Stockton Mud (209-993-2243) reported a couple of <br />ounces of transmission fluid leaked from a car. Sand was placed on the leak and <br />will be cleaned up on 4/2/21. No storm drains or waterways impacted. Called and <br />left a message for Ben Best and Paul Ferroni (Stockton MUD CERS <br />Environmental Contact-209-937-7188). Called City of Stockton Public Works at <br />209-937-8411 and was transferred to Stockton MUD. Secretary said that the spill <br />will be cleaned up today by the Community Enhancement department and that it <br />was a citizen's car that was leaking. She gave the Supervisor's number <br />(209-937-8725), Chris Devore, for more information. Left a message for Chris <br />Devore. <br />Generated a complaint. Completed emergency response record & site map. <br />Wrote OIR and emailed to Paul Ferroni at paul.ferroni@stocktonca.gov. <br />Completed photo log.
