The containers <br /> were: <br /> -two used oil caddies, in the service area, missing the words"Hazardous Waste,"name and address of the <br /> generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), and accumulation start date. <br /> -a red 5-gallon bucket, in the service area compressor room, storing used oil missing the address of the generator, <br /> hazardous properties, and physical state. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil filters or fuel filters. <br /> OBSERVATION: Containers of used metal oil or fuel filters out of compliance with the storage rules were observed <br /> on-site.A 55-gallon drum of drained metal oil and fuel filters was observed open and did not include the word <br /> "drained"on the label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br /> California Health&Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately store the drained metal oil and fuel filters in closed, rainproof containers. <br /> Label the container with the words"drained used oil filters." Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of <br /> according to this section are regulated as hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action statement to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Notes: <br /> -The inspection began on 6/8/2021 and was finished on 6/9/2021. <br /> -An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
