IeI944A 4 TIMMM <br />• PLAN <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill is located <br />approximately nine miles east of Lodi, California on Harney Lane <br />(Figure 1). The site is operated under Solid Waste Facilities <br />Permit 39 -AA -022 and Waste Discharge Requirements 91-021 issued by <br />the San Joaquin County Department of Health Services, and <br />California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) <br />respectively. <br />ENTRANCE FACILITIES <br />The entrance facilities at the site consist of a scale house, a <br />recycling center building, and an office and maintenance building. <br />All vehicles must stop at the scale house where the waste quantity <br />is recorded and a gate fee is paid. waste arriving in larger <br />vehicles will be weighed. Once the cashier has made the <br />transaction, the public and commercial vehicles will proceed to the <br />recycling center. Trucks originating from transfer stations with <br />recycling programs will proceed directly to the landfill working <br />face. <br />The Recycling Center consists of a 65,000 square foot building with <br />several levels.
