This will allow us to address any comments you may have prior to <br />the official reissue of the Joint Technical Document (JTD) associated with the permit revision for this site. The <br />attachment includes excerpts from the Preliminary Closure and Postclosure Maintenance Plan (which is <br />included in the JTD) and Appendix D of that Plan, presenting the bulk of the cost estimate documentation. <br />This estimate reflects the cost of closure with the landfill reaching the proposed maximum height of 320 ft msl. <br />I believe you now have the design of final closure contours and drainage in the version of the JTD in your <br />office. <br />Cost estimates are based on third -party (contractor) installation derived from contractor bids for similar work <br />done recently in the Central Valley. I believe this follows the guidance given to Shaw Environment and <br />Infrastructure. We expect the landfill to close sometime after 2045 with the increase in volume provided by <br />the increase in height, so I expect many updates and revisions before closure. <br />Please let me know if you find this estimate satisfactory.
