C. If any strange material is encountered during drilling, then the work area <br />will be cordoned off and the County's Office of Emergency Services (OES) <br />will be notified. The affected work area will be flagged and excluded from <br />other work areas until the strange material is characterized by OES. <br />County's staff and Drilling Contractor will not attempt to remove or handle <br />suspicious material. County will contact Stericycle Environmental to <br />remove and dispose of any hazardous materials. <br />D. Drilling Contractor is required to follow OSHA safety rules and regulations <br />during this project. Hard hats, safety glasses and safety vests will be <br />required for personnel working near the construction area and operating <br />heavy equipment. <br />E. Landfill Gas analyzer will be used to measure methane concentrations in <br />the work area. Workers will not perform work that involves sources of <br />combustion (such as welding equipment) or other work that generates <br />temperatures that could ignite methane unless the work area has been <br />verified to meet safety requirements. <br />F. Site personnel will call 9-1-1 during an emergency. For non -life <br />threatening treatments, workers will go to Lodi Memorial Hospital located <br />at 975 S Fairmont Ave, Lodi, CA.
