Following tasks will be done as part of 2018-2019 winterization: <br />1. Drainage Ditches <br />Existing drainage ditches will be inspected and cleaned from vegetation and <br />debris if necessary by end of October. <br />2. Down Drains <br />Existing down drains will be inspected and re -connected if necessary by end of <br />October. <br />MODULE 5 <br />1. Winter Pad <br />A new winter pad is being built in Module 5A for refuse disposal during rainy <br />days. The winter pad will be built with six -inches of recycled aggregate base and <br />concrete rubble over compacted refuse. Module 5A's winter pad is expected to <br />be completed by the end of October. <br />2. Daily Cover Soil <br />Daily cover soil has been stockpiled near the winter pad for winter operations. <br />3. Drainage <br />Soil berms will be installed along the downslope edges of Module 5A to control <br />surface storm water runoff (Figure 1). Down drains will be installed at the end of <br />the soil berms to convey storm water down the slope and into the storm water <br />pond. This task is expected to be completed by the end of October, weather <br />permitting. <br />4. Grading <br />The top deck will be graded with 3% slope to aid storm water runoff.
