The air cannon was used as a bird contol. The birds did not move when the air cannon fired. <br /> The birds only moved when the truck or compactor approached them. <br /> -Provide an effective bird control. <br /> Inspection Report Comments: <br /> Notes: <br /> 1. Tarp was used as ADC. <br /> 2. There was a small exposed waste west of the active face. The operator removed and covered the waste prior to the completion of the inspection. <br /> 3. In the green waste area,there were 4 piles: 120 ft x 90 ft x 10 ft pile of ground wood waste,40 ft x 20 ft x 8 ft pile of ground green waste,100 ft x <br /> 20ft x 8 ft pile of green waste and 50 ft x 40 ft x 8 ft pile of wood waste. The operator is to maintain both inbound and outbound of all waste taken to <br /> and/or left the green waste area.The waste that is stockpiled more than 6 months meets the definition of disposal as defined in 14CCR1 7852(a)(1 5) <br /> (A). According to the operator's record,the inbound waste exceed the outbound waste by large amount. The operator is to take adequate measure to <br /> ensure that the above-mentioned waste would not be stockpiled longer than 6 months. <br /> 4. The temperature of the ground green waste was 141 F. The ground green waste is actively composting. Ensure that all compost regulation are <br /> met or maintain the temperature of the ground waste below 122 F. <br /> 5. The concentrations of gas in SG10,20 and 19 are 0%. <br /> 6. The installation of the new gas probes completed in July,2009. The as-built plan was submitted to the EHD on October 15,2009. To date,the <br /> operator has not tested all the gas probes. The operator is to test all gas probes and submit result to EHD. <br />
