This project is for a commercial cannabis cultivation, cannabis <br /> distribution and cannabis manufacturing facility located on the west side of S . <br /> Bird Rd . , 2, 631 feet south of W. Lovely Rd. , Tracy (APN/Address : 25044 <br /> 06 / 24707 S . Bird Rd. , Tracy) . Upon review of the referral and corresponding <br /> attachments, the Sheriffs Office's position is that in the interest of public <br /> safety, the following requirements must be addressed before this project moves <br /> forward . <br /> Fencing -- A minimum of an I P tall chain link dual perimeter fence must be in <br /> good repair and provide privacy (either solid/privacy slats or netting) <br /> constructed at or above industry standards . The entirety of the exterior fence <br /> line must include anti- climbing features (razor wire/barbed wire/etc . ) . A dual <br /> fence line perimeter system (exterior & interior) should run parallel at a <br /> maximum of 10' apart. <br /> Security guard — It is recommended that a 24 hour licensed and armed private <br /> security guard ( 1 minimally, two recommended) be onsite . <br /> Alarms & Surveillance -- During hours of darkness (dusk to dawn) , adequate <br /> and operational lighting within the area and around the entire exterior <br /> perimeter should be required . Alarm systems must be professionally monitored <br /> 24 hours a day (upon alarming) and include a beam-style system to cover the <br /> outer perimeter (large open areas) of the listed fence line . Motion detectors on <br /> interior portions of the operation along with glass breaks (where applicable) . <br /> Also, industrial grade locking mechanisms must be installed on all entry/exit <br /> CR•32 <br />
