The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for TRACY 76 as of September 2, 2021 Open violations from July 21 , 2021 inspection Violation #106 - Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures . OBSERVATION : At the time of inspection , it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented) that employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained . Spoke with Anna Bibiano , new employee , and asked what the procedure was if there was a fuel spill . She was unsure and said she thinks you put something on the spill but is not sure where the clean up items would go . She was also unaware of where the spill kit/absorbent or the hazardous waste drum was located . REGULATION GUIDANCE : The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling and emergency procedures , relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and emergencies . CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately train the employees . Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste . ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : Violation #110 - Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years . OBSERVATION : The facility could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three years during the inspection . REGULATION GUIDANCE : A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance with section 66262. 23(a) for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility which received the waste . This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter. CORRECTIVE ACTION : Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years 6/19/2018 - 7/21 /2021 for all hazardous waste including fuel contaminated solids and fuel contaminated liquids .
