Enteric Precautions <br />2, Drainage/Secretion Precautions <br />3. Blood/Body Fluid Precautions <br />NOTE: <br />Outside of bag is not considered contaminated. Tie off <br />and drop into the autoclaveable liner inside of the red <br />cart. <br />Completed by the' person with the cart following <br />established procedures. A.F.B. <br />NOTE: <br />Outside of bag is considered contaminated so it will. <br />take 2 individuals*, 1 to enter and 1 outside with cart <br />to hold the autoclaveable bag, tie off and drop into <br />cart. Follow established procedures in transporting <br />down and outside to the infectious waste holding room <br />and prepare for sterilizer. <br />*Shift 1 <br />Each Environmental Services Aide assigned in an <br />area will assist the one with the cart. <br />*Shift 2 & 3 <br />Nursing Staff will continue to be asked to enter and <br />assist the person with the cart. <br />
