The <br />amount of solution mixed will be no more than can be used at any one time. <br />Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Method: <br />Dameron Hospital treats medical waste on-site using steam sterilization via a Sani-Pak unit. <br />All solid waste is removed by a municipal waste hauler. <br />All chemotherapeutic and pathology waste will be picked up at least weekly by BFI medical <br />waste hauler and transported to the off-site treatment facility identified below. Another contingency for less well-defined emergency situations would be to <br />contact the Environmental Health Division -Medical Waste Management Program of San <br />Joaquin Public Health Services. <br />Spills are cleaned up by removing gross contamination and then disinfecting the area <br />utilizing Ves-Phene with a contact time of ten (10) minutes.
