Complaint Investigation Summary <br /> Report #: 5105 <br />COMPLAINT ID: C00053899 Site Location: 1041 S PERSHING AVE <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date Recorded by <br />06/10/2021 Called City of Stockton Public Works at 209-937-8411 and left a message BAKER <br />regarding clean-up of knocked over drum of oil filters. <br />Received call back from City of Stockton Public Works that they have no <br />knowledge of a clean-up at that site and asked who I spoke with. Let them know it <br />was the after hours staff. Public Works said if it happens after hours then the fire <br />department gets someone to handle the clean-up. They will find out what was <br />done and call me back. <br />Filled out complaint information, Prop 65 and Emergency Response Record. <br />06/10/2021 Went to site to see if clean-up was completed. Drum and oil filters have been BAKER <br />removed. Oil saturated blanket was left on site. Sand was placed on oily spill. <br />Three used filters were left on site. Clean-up is not complete. Left site. <br />06/11/2021 Called City of Stockton Public Works at 209-937-8411 and let them know that the BAKER <br />clean-up was not completed. Marian said she would find out what happened and <br />call me back. <br />Wrote Notice to Abate. Completed site map. Verified GIS in EC. <br />Emailed Notice to Abate to Ty Rust (CERS Contact) at ty.rust@stocktongov.com <br />Completed photo log. Emailed Prop 65 to Garrett Backus (Lead Sr. RENS) for <br />review. <br />06/24/2021 Verified clean-up was complete. All oily absorbent and debris was cleaned up BAKER <br />from the area. <br />06/29/2021 Completed photo log. BAKER <br />One 55 gallon drum of used oil filters and one 55 gallon drum of oily debris <br />generated from clean-up will be verified on next routine hazardous waste <br />inspection (PRO513893). <br />Abated complaint as 01-Field Response-Violations cited and corrected. File will <br />be turned in on 6/30/21 to Elena Manzo (Lead Sr. REHS) for review. <br />51 05. rpt Page 2 of 2
