HABANERO HOTS RESTAURANT • PROCEDURE" <br /> CARBON DIOXIDE LEAK AND/OR ALARM ACTIVATION <br /> GENERAL ACTIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL EMPLOYEES <br /> • Carbon Dioxide detector is located in the following area: <br /> o Storage Area — "Caboose" <br /> The detector will provide an audible alarm from the detector itself. <br /> They are not connected to or part of the building fire alarm system. <br /> • If a Carbon Dioxide alarm is activated, the employee should take the <br /> following actions: <br /> o Evacuate the immediate room/area of both customers and/or <br /> employees to the Staging Area referenced on Habanero Hots <br /> Hazardous Material (HM) Site Map. Move to fresh air immediately. <br /> o Contain the area where the alarm has been activated by closing <br /> the doors. <br /> o If imminent danger or injury, Call 911 and inform them that a <br /> Carbon Dioxide detector has been activated. <br /> o Notify the following persons of incident as quickly as possible: <br /> ■ Manager on Site <br /> ■ John DeNigris - 209-401-2989_ <br /> ■ Robert Craggs 209-663-3216 <br /> o If dispatched, meet the Fire department and inform them of the <br /> location of the alarm and consult if further evacuation is necessary. <br /> o Administer immediate medical attention to anyone complaining of <br /> associated illness by bringing exposed individuals to an area of <br /> fresh air. Call EMS ambulance, as needed. <br /> MANAGER ON SITE <br /> • If contact has not been made, Notify the Primary Emergency <br /> Coordinator, John DeNigris @ 209-401-2989 or the Alternate <br /> Emergency Coordinator, Robert Craggs @ 209-663-3216. <br /> Note: If Fire department has responded, they will establish a <br /> Command Post outside the restaurant. The Emergency <br /> Coordinator or Manager on Site should be present at the Fire <br /> Department Command Post. <br /> • If warranted, ensure that the Fire Department (911 ) has been notified <br /> • Inform all employees and/or customers of the situation and be <br /> prepared to evacuate additional areas based upon the Fire <br /> department's findings and recommendations. <br />
