Another permit <br />was filed in September 2013 for repair/addition of the septic system: three 40 feet long leach lines <br />and three seepage pits. <br />·Address: 2444 Carpenter Road <br />Location: Adjacent property <br />Septic System: A permit was filed in March 1955 for a new septic system: one 800-gallon septic <br />tank with two compartments and a 120 feet long disposal field. <br />·Address: 2500 Carpenter Rd <br />Location: Adjacent property in the agricultural fields <br />Septic System: A permit was filed in May 2009 for destroying a septic tank. <br />·Address: 2506 Carpenter Road <br />Location: Adjacent property <br />Septic System: A permit was filed in September 1965 for installing a septic system: one 1,200- <br />gallon septic tank with two compartments, two 75 feet long disposal fields, and two seepage pits. <br />Another permit was filed in September 1992 for repair/addition of the septic system: the 1,200- <br />gallon septic tank, one new 40 feet long leach line, and one seepage pit. <br />3.6 Proposed Maximum Septic Tank Usage on Site <br />The Onsite Systems Manual (2017) does not have specific design flow values for Adult Care facilities, so <br />the EPA Design Manual-Onsite Wastewater and Disposal Systems manual was used to estimate the gallons <br />per day (gpd). The estimated wastewater flow rates from the rest home are 90 gpd per resident and <br />between 15 gpd per employee. The value of 90 gpd per resident was provided by representatives from <br />San Joaquin County, as this facility is similar to rest homes in the County. Our model assumes for 23 <br />residents and five employees which will result in an estimated 2,145 gpd dosing rate to the proposed <br />septic system.
