Soil Suitability/ Nitrate Loading Study
Eagle's Nest Motorcycle School Stockton, California
July 27, 2021 Terracon Project No. NA217040
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
Irerracon,
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed
a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthTIM . The vicinity of the site
consists of agricultural land and rural residences. The assumption was made that each
building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we determined there are
approximately 10 septic systems within 0.2 miles of the site.
1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Terracon searched the EHD Public Records website for the adjoining property septic permits. The
following table is a summary of septic permits available for the adjacent and nearby properties:
Table 3.
Summary of Adjoining Property Septic Permits.
Nr — No septic permits round, LL — leach lines
Based on a review of the permits, the septic systems in the area appear to utilize 60 to 100 -foot
long leach lines with 25 foot deep seepage pits or 14 foot deep sumps.
1.3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity
One septic repair permit in the vicinity appeared to be for the addition of leach lines and two
sumps. Copies of selected septic permits can be found in Appendix C of this report.
1.3.7 Expected On -Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage
According to client provided information, the site will be occupied six days per week from 8 am to
6 pm. Two employees will work up to 8 hours per day and approximately 5 visitors per day are
anticipated. Below is a table of the overall septic system usage calculated for the facility.
