There is a big difference in the UST and the new fiberglass lift station that was installed.The UST was a permitted tank that was intended to store hydrocarbons.The new fiberglass lift station is not intended to store hydrocarbons. The new lift station system is just a pass through from the incoming streams per the drawings I sent you which is water from rack strip drains,tank water draws and any hydrocarbons in the event of a spill at the rack over to Tank 13.The new lift stations even has (2) pumps that was hydraulicly sized and are automatically activated in the event of a major rain storm or spill at the rack to move water or hydrocarbons over to Tank 13.The UST was a manual system with only one pump. Someone had to go out and turn on the pump when need to pump out of the UST. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Steve J.
