The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for A L POWELL TRUCKING as of December 13, 2021. <br />Open violations from October 04, 2021 inspection <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #301 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Observed 2x3 ft of oily stain below the diesel fuel connection port. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non -sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the oily stain. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code <br />of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #403 - Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing <br />hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br />- One drain pan was observed inside the shop open with approximately 1 inch of used oil. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br />when not adding or removing waste.
