The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for A L POWELL TRUCKING as of December 13, 2021. <br />Open violations from October 04, 2021 inspection <br />Violation #406 - Empty hazardous waste or material container greater than 5 gallons not managed per this <br />section. <br />OBSERVATION: <br />- One red, blue and white metal 55 gallon drum was observed in the southeast corner of the shop without the word <br />"empty" and a date. <br />- Two white plastic 55 gallon drum was observed in the barn without the word "empty" and a date. <br />- One black metal 55 gallon drum was observed in the barn without the word "empty" and a date. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous <br />waste must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 66261.7. Refer to this section <br />and California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage <br />within one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action <br />statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br />within 30 days. <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Violation #505 - Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br />OBSERVATION: The hazardous waste tank storing used oil does not have complete labeling. <br />- One 250 gallon convault used oil was observed behind the shop without accumulation start date and hazardous <br />waste labeling. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words "Hazardous Waste" and the <br />accumulation start date. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words "Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation <br />start date. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
