Immediately conduct all necessary testing of the 350-gallon diesel <br /> emergency generator and 500-gallon diesel fuel tank liquid level sensing devices to ensure proper operation, submit <br /> test results to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 718 CFR 112.8(c)(10) Failed to promptly correct visible discharges and/or remove accumulations of oil in diked areas. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility failed to promptly correct visible discharges of from the 350-gallon diesel emergency <br /> generator. Leakage was observed on the floor of the emergency generator during the inspection. The emergency <br /> generator has a current log of when the emergency generator is inspected but the leakage was not addressed. <br /> In addition,the SPCC Plan does not discuss promptly correcting visual discharges. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: 112.8(c)(10)Promptly correct visible discharges which result in a loss of oil from the <br /> container, including but not limited to seams, gaskets, piping, pumps, valves, rivets, and bolts.You must promptly <br /> remove any accumulations of oil in diked areas. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure the SPCC Plan addresses promptly correcting visual discharges and immediately <br /> address the leakage at the emergency generator, and manage all wastes according to the California Code of <br /> Regulations Title 22 hazardous waste regulations, submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> FA0018952 PR0527961 SCO01 10/05/2021 <br /> EHD 28-01 Rev.9/16/2020 Page 8 of 10 Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act OIR <br /> 1868 E.
