Focus Area Requirements, Please refer to Sections 4,4 t4 4.7 of this chapter <br />for specific requirements tar uses within Focus Areas. <br />4.4 TOWN CENTER <br />Master Plan Summary <br />The Master Plan proposes the Town Center as an active, mixed use "downtawn" that will <br />create a sense of incus for the Mountain House community, The Town Center will <br />function as a gathering and activity area acrd will provide the principal opportunities foT <br />specialty shopping. entertainment, office, public -serving uses such as administrative and <br />civic buildings, and high density housing, all located in close proximity within a pedestriar- <br />scaled urban setting. <br />The Town Center will be surrounded by Major andlor Minor Arterial streets. Central <br />Parkw2iy will function as a pedestrian, automobile and transit north -south earridor [hat <br />connects the majority of the neighborhoods with the Town Centsr. Adjacent struts and <br />pedestrianlbicycle systems will facilitate access to the Town Center_ A transit center will <br />be provided within the Central Cflmmercial area.
