Line Road. <br />Imptementatlon: <br />a) Design. Design of paths, inolDding alignment, standards, signaoI locatiarn <br />of trail heads or staging areas, and timing of construction and maintenance <br />shall be providett in the Parks and Open Space Plan (see Section 7.2,2; <br />Recreation System). <br />b) Trail Connections, Specific Plans for the affected area shall incorporate <br />provisions of the Parks and Open Space Plan and provide for the design <br />and location of on-site Regional Traits and provide for 11rikages to <br />destinations within the community, especially Macntalri House Creek <br />Community Park and Old River Regional Park. Tf�ese trails include those <br />planned by the East Bay Regional Funk District, the Livermore Area <br />Recreatlon and Park District, and the National Park Sarvlca (De Anza <br />Trail), <br />cj Coordination with Other Districts_ There shall be ongoing coordination with <br />the East Bay Regional Park District, the Livermore Area Recreallon and <br />Park District, and the National Park Service to Insure that Regional Trall <br />connections are contiguous wh erever feasible. constructed in coortlinatlurl <br />with other park and street improvements, and are maintained. <br />7.21111 Private Recreation <br />The Master Plan allocates privately developed recreation uses, including tWo <br />linked nature preserves, one in the Neighborhood I ars+v9 a#eig#1-and <br />uric in the Neighborhood J mixed acture adult and famlly nelghborbooct, located <br />north of Syron Road. in addition, private recreation facilitles are expected to be <br />constructed as amenities within Neigliborhonds, higher density residential <br />complexes, or commercial areas. <br />Private Neighborhood recreation facilities are encouraged to locate within discrete <br />(Neighborhood units or high density residential complexes.
