Clean any oil residual from piping, valves and connections. <br /> Dispose of oily rags into the app ro gate metal containers in the <br /> hazmat storage area. <br /> 3. Dewater sump and containment as needed. All water must be <br /> checked prior to being pumped to ensure that no oil is being <br /> discharged into the environment. This is a regulatory issue that <br /> must be documented and recorded after every event. <br /> 4. Check coriWnment and sump. Verify that containment is free of <br /> any cracks concrete spalling and corrosion. Clean as needed. <br /> 5. Verify that tank support structure is free of cracks and c rosion. <br /> Check condition of grounding cable and straps. <br /> 6. Verify that tank foundation is free of any cracks, corrosion and <br /> that all gVng is intact. Check condition of anchoring fasteners. <br /> 7. Perform general housekeeping as needed for the immediate area. <br /> Ensure thearea is free of any debris and flammable materials. <br /> B. Verify that tank coating is in good condition. Verify at tank <br /> placards and signage are in good condition. <br /> 9. Report all issues to your direct supervisor for follow-up and <br /> corrective action. `This comps ed work order record must be filed <br /> into the facility regulatory rV6rdkeeping binder and maintained for <br /> at least 3 years <br /> 10.
