'.- <br />k. 41 Austin 1994 (L2.b) (updated), Austin 2000 (L2.b) <br />The landfill operator shall continue to participate in the San Joaquin County Regional <br />Household Hazardous Waste Program to help reduce the amount of household hazardous <br />waste in the waste stream. <br />I. 42 Forward 1993 (A5) <br />Fire hydrants and a pressurized water source for fire suppression and dust control shall bQ <br />Installed. <br />m. 43 Forward 1993 (A. 11) <br />In order to reduce risks to publio health due to partioles of ash leaving the faoility. all trucks <br />oontaining ash shall be covered and water should be available at the ash pile to assure that <br />all ashes whioh are dumped are damp. Aotive faoes need to have a oertain moisture oontent <br />so as to preclude the generation of dust. It is recognized that a balanoe must be struck <br />between maintaining suffioient moisture for dust control and applying too much moisture suoh <br />that the generation of exoess leaohate occurs. The conditions at the aotive faoes of a landfill <br />as well as the leaohate generated, shall be monitored and professional judgment utilized at <br />all times to keep these two faotors in balanoe. <br />n. 53 Austin 1994 (K5.e), Austin 2000 (K5.e) <br />The landfill operator would inolude practices and prooedures in the SWFP to oomply with AB <br />1760.
