Sludge <br />Dewatered sewage or water treatment sludge (hereinafter ##sludge##) <br />may be accepted for disposal if the sludge contains at least fifty <br />(50) percent solids. <br />In order to process a request for the disposal of sludge, the <br />following must be completed by the party applying for permission to <br />dispose. <br />1. State certified analytical laboratory results for: <br />Title 26 metals, total and soluble <br />Electrical Conductivity <br />Total Dissolved Solids <br />EPA Method 8240 <br />EPA Method 8270 <br />2. Chain -of -custody forms <br />3. A fully completed Waste Characterization Form, signed by <br />the generator <br />4. An appropriate moisture content certification <br />All requests will be submitted to the LEA and San Joaquin County <br />Solid Waste Department for screening prior to acceptance. <br />Sludge will be spread and incorporated with other waste. All waste <br />including the sludge will be covered on a daily basis with six <br />inches of soil. <br />2 <br />
