MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM _2_
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL INCORPORATED
FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL FACILITY
CLASS III LANDFILL
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
standards are established the Discharger shall determine at each sampling whether
there is a statistically significant increase over water quality protection
standards for each parameter and constituent analyzed. The ground water surface
elevation (in feet and hundredths, MSL) in all wells shall be measured on a
quarterly basis and used to determine the direction of ground water flow. This
information shall be displayed on a water table contour map and/or ground water
flow net for the site. Samples from all wells shall be analyzed for the
following parameters and constituents:
Sampling
Report in & Reporting
Parameter/Constituent Units of Frequency
Specific Conductance (field) umhos/cm Quarterly
pH (field) Number Quarterly
(Dissolved) or (Total) Organic Carbon mg/l Quarterly
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) mg/l Quarterly
Chloride mg/l Quarterly
Sulfate mg/l Quarterly
Dissolved Irons mg/l Quarterly
Carbonate mg/l Quarterly
Bicarbonate mg/l Quarterly
Alkalinity mg/l Quarterly
Nitrate (as N) mg/l Quarterly
Sulfides (including H2S) presence or
2 absence Quarterly
Volatile 1 Organics ug/l Annually
Aluminum mg/l Annually
Antimony mg/l Annually
Arsenic mg/l Annually
Cadmiumi mg/l Annually
Total Chromium (III+VI)1 mg/l Annually
Chromium (VI) mg/l Annually
Coppfr mg/l Annually
Lead 1 mg/l Annually
Manganese mg/l Annually
Mercury mg/l Annually
Nickel mg/l Annually
Selenip mg/l Annually
Silver 1 mg/l Annually
Thalliums mg/l Annually
Zinc mg/l Annually
t Inauctively Coupled Argon Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICRP) may be
usefor analysis of these constituents only.
EPA Methods 601 and 602, or EPA Method 624 shall be used.
