Foothill Sanitary Landfill <br />Page 6 <br />Section 17676 - Confined Unloading <br />The unloading area ,was confined to as small an area as practicable. <br />The area appeared to be properly confined for the number of <br />vehicles using the facility at this time. <br />Section 17677 - Spreading and Compacting <br />I observed waste being spread and compacted. <br />Section 17678 - Slopes and Cuts <br />I observed the slope of the working face, and it allowed effective <br />compaction by the dozer used. <br />Section 17679 - Final Site Face <br />No area at this site was identified as a final cover area. This <br />standard is not applicable to this site at this time. <br />Section 17680 - Stockpiling <br />The stockpile of cover material was maintained north of the active <br />face. The stockpile did not appear to interfere with site <br />operations. <br />Section 17681 - Availability of Cover <br />The supply of cover was enough to provide for compliance with <br />Section 17682. Cover material is excavated onsite (northeast of <br />the active face). <br />Section 17683 - Performance Standards <br />This site does not operate under performance standards. <br />Section 17684 - Intermediate Cover <br />Areas identified by Jesse Padilla (Site Foreman) as having <br />intermediate cover, had at least twelve inches of cover material <br />and did not exhibit any daylighting of waste. <br />Section 17685 - Final Cover <br />No area at this site was identified as a final cover area.
