FINDINGS : <br /> A. This existing facility is a 800 acre Class sanitary landfill. The <br /> trench and ramp method of operation is uti zed. The facility is located <br /> at 6854 N. Waverly Road, Linden, San Joaq n County, California. The <br /> site receives an annual average of 2880 bic yards per day of combined <br /> wastes on a six day per week basis . Ty es of wastes received at the <br /> site include the followiing: <br /> 1. Residential refuse. `, <br /> 2 . Commercial solid wastes . <br /> 3. Tires . <br /> 4. Construction/demolition,,, wast- s . <br /> 5 . Agriculture wastes . ��\ ; <br /> Hazardous wastes are not acc ted at the site. The site is open Tuesday <br /> through Sunday, 8 :00 a.m. to,`'tl :00 p.m. and is closed on holidays . Add- <br /> itional information concerns the facility's design and operation is <br /> included in the Report of pisp sal Site Information. <br /> B. Operation and design i e`diatel prior to. August 15 , 1977 were as <br /> specified by the Report /ef Dispo al Site Information dated October 14, <br /> 1977, which is hereby made a part of this permit, except that the <br /> following do not conform with the ite operations as determined by an <br /> on-site inspection dated November 1977 : <br /> 1. A six (6") inch cover layer of s'pil was not placed on the final <br /> lift of refuse at the close of each working day. <br /> 2 . Two feet (2 ' ) of compacted soil co er was not placed on the final <br /> lift of r e fuse' -- <br /> This permit is granted solely to the operator named above, and,'is not transferable. Upon a change of <br /> operator, this permit is `subject to revocation. Upon a significat change in design or operation from <br /> that described in this permit or in attachments thereto for the existing design and operation of a <br /> facility operating immediately prior to August 15, 1977, or from the approved intended 'design and <br /> operation of a facility which was not operating prior to August 15, 1977, or which herein is-granted <br /> a permit modification, this permit is subject to revocation, suspension, modification or other <br /> appropriate action. <br /> This permit does not authorize the operation of any facility contrary to the State Minimum Standards <br /> for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal.
