This bill mandates the California <br />Waste Management Board staff to inspect landfills, transfer/processing stations, <br />and closed, abandoned, or illegal sites to ensure compliance with the State <br />Minimum Standards for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal. If the facility is <br />substandard, it shall be included on the list of non -complying facilities and <br />given up to one year to remedy the problem.
