A gate valve shall be provided on all connections between hydrants <br /> and street mains. <br /> Reliability of Supply <br /> 1. Pumps shall, if possible, receive electrical power from separate <br /> sources to insure reliability. <br /> 2. Fire Hydrants: Hydrants installed shall conform to the standard American <br /> Water Works Association.
