Since Methyl tert-butyl ether is a <br /> common laboratory contaminant,the County considers the detection in MW-1 to be a false positive. The County <br /> did not request a retest,because according to the Standard Provisions,two or more VOCs must be detected. <br /> Trichloroethene and 1,1 Dichloroethene were detected in Monitoring Well 3(MW-3). The County submitted an <br /> evaluation monitoring program and is awaiting review from the Board. In the interim,the County will continue <br /> to sample and evaluate MW-3 for VOCs. <br /> We have attached a copy of Monitoring Report Compliance Checklist that will be included in the case file.
