The ALANIZ <br />release occurred on 4/15/2020 at approximately 10:00 p.m. A car backed into a <br />pole knocking it into a pad mounted transformer. The pad had already been <br />replaced. Alex said that the oil was non-PCB and that a confirmation sample <br />would be run. The site needed to be cleared (USA) before digging could begin. <br />Discussed the site with Claudia Muro, D Person. It turns out that she was in <br />process of responding to the call. Called Alex Steele and updated him. <br />04/16/2020 Updated Lead Senior Elena Manzo, REHS on spill response. MURO <br />Discussed spill response with John Alaniz, RENS. This spill was reported by both <br />Eric Ostrom, PG&E Environmental Field Specialist, and Alex Steele, PG&E <br />Environmental Field Specialist, but we determined it was the same incident. <br />Completed Narrative. <br />04/16/2020 Generated Notice to Abate. Emailed to Alex Steele, PG&E, at R2Sv@pge.com MURO <br />04/16/2020 6:55 AM Received page from SJGH, 209-468-6000. I called and spoke with <br />dispatcher at SJGH who provided the following: <br />A 20 gallon spill of non-PCB mineral oil release occurred at 9015 Walnut Grove <br />Rd. in Thorton. The complainant was Eric Ostrum with callback number: <br />510-210-2340. <br />7:03 AM Called Eric Ostrum, (PG&E). He reported the following: <br />- Approximately 20 gallons of non-PCB mineral oil released from a pad mounted <br />transformer. PG&E believes someone drove into the transformer, causing the <br />release of oil onto the pad and surrounding dirt. <br />Dave Larsen cleaned up the pad and the rest will pend USA clearance. <br />- The spill area address is located in San Joaquin County. <br />- No waterways impacted. <br />7:36 AM Headed out to 9015 W.
