Applicable
Countywide.
Senior Planner Kitty Walker introduced a staff report into the record.
Staff submitted a memorandum dated September 17 , 1987 in which the
Ordinance Subcommittee recommended revisions to this Text Amendment.
PUBLIC HEARING OPENED
PROPONENTS/OPPONENTS: There was no one in the audience wishing to
speak on this item.
PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED
There was a discussion concerning the Ordinance Subcommittee recommen-
dation concerning Agricultural Preserve acreage requirements. Comm.
Gillispie objected to their recommendation on this issue. He said
that the county ordinance should comply with state law. The county
requirements should not be more restrictive and it should not be made
retroactive.
Director Chet Davisson noted that the county ordinance should be con-
sistent with state law. He suggested that the proposal concerning
Section 9-2341 (Agricultural Preserve requirements ) be removed from
this Text Amendment and that the Agricultural Subcommittee, which will
meet on September 24, 1987, further study the issue.
The Commission asked that there be no change to Section 9-9203
(Private Right-of-Way requirements) .
MOTION: Moved, seconded (Gabbard-Bozzano) and carried by a unanimous
roll call vote to:
PC: 9/17/87 -1- MINUTES
