Applicable <br /> Countywide. <br /> Senior Planner Kitty Walker introduced a staff report into the record. <br /> Staff submitted a memorandum dated September 17 , 1987 in which the <br /> Ordinance Subcommittee recommended revisions to this Text Amendment. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING OPENED <br /> PROPONENTS/OPPONENTS: There was no one in the audience wishing to <br /> speak on this item. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED <br /> There was a discussion concerning the Ordinance Subcommittee recommen- <br /> dation concerning Agricultural Preserve acreage requirements. Comm. <br /> Gillispie objected to their recommendation on this issue. He said <br /> that the county ordinance should comply with state law. The county <br /> requirements should not be more restrictive and it should not be made <br /> retroactive. <br /> Director Chet Davisson noted that the county ordinance should be con- <br /> sistent with state law. He suggested that the proposal concerning <br /> Section 9-2341 (Agricultural Preserve requirements ) be removed from <br /> this Text Amendment and that the Agricultural Subcommittee, which will <br /> meet on September 24, 1987, further study the issue. <br /> The Commission asked that there be no change to Section 9-9203 <br /> (Private Right-of-Way requirements) . <br /> MOTION: Moved, seconded (Gabbard-Bozzano) and carried by a unanimous <br /> roll call vote to: <br /> PC: 9/17/87 -1- MINUTES <br />
