i <br /> SECTION 15 Section 9-3702 , Chapter 15 , Division 3 , Title 9 , <br /> of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended by amending <br /> Subsection (a) to read as follows : <br /> (a) Each parking space shall be not less than nine (9 ) feet in <br /> width and twenty ( 20) feet in length_ Where a concrete curb <br /> around a planter in a parking lot functions as a wheel stop, <br /> the required length of a parking space abutting such curb may <br /> be reduced hy a maximum of two ( 2) feet , provided that the <br /> planter is at least five L) feet wide where vehicles <br /> overhang one side of the planter , or at least eight ( 8 ) feet <br /> wide where vehicles overhang both sides of the planter , and <br /> further provided that the overhang will not damage or <br /> interfere with plant growth or irrigation systems ; <br /> SECTION 16 Section 9-3704 , Chapter 15 , Division 3 , Title 9 , <br /> of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended by amending <br /> Subsection (a) to read as follows : <br /> (a) Every parcel. or part thereof , to be utilized wand-mea as <br /> a parking lot shall be sarf aced—paved with a suifa-cing <br /> asphaltic concrete paving of at least 231" <br /> paving over 6" of rock base . and The parking lot shall have <br /> appropriate bumper guards determined by the f3arming Director <br /> to be necessary to protect adjacent structures or properties. <br /> The Director may waive or reduce this requirement in the <br /> instance of temporary or overflow parking when monitored <br /> parking attendants , or for produce stands and other seasonal <br /> agricultural uses . <br /> SECTION 17 Section 9-4201 . 2 , Chapter 3 , Division 4 , Title <br /> 9 , of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read <br /> as follows : <br /> SECTION 9-4201 . 2 . USES SUBJECT TO SITE APPROVAL. The <br /> following uses are permitted subject to Site Approval : <br /> (a) Farm produce stand, wholesale nursery, or greenhouse <br /> (b) Commercial and industrial uses, provided such uses are to be <br /> located in areas so designated on the General Plan, as <br /> amended, and are found to be compatible with and not detri- <br /> mental to existing uses and to future uses as proposed hy the <br /> General Plan, as amended. <br /> SECTION 18 Section 9-4202 , Chapter 3 , Division 4 , Title 9 , <br /> of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> SECTION 9-4202 . CONDITIONAL USES . The following uses are <br /> permitted, subject to an approved Use Permit : <br /> (a) Churches, libraries, museums , art galleries, private educa- <br /> tional institutions, public parks , public recreational <br /> TA-88-2 -16 - (BOS : 10-6-87 ) <br />
