AREA/NEIGHBORHOOD COMPATIBILITY: Traffic Circulation: Lathrop Road forms the north boundary of the project and is a major collector in the General Plan map. At the time of develop- ment , the Department of Public Works will require frontage improvements in accordance with the Lathrop Specific Road Plan. Also, the roadway shown in recorded Parcel Map Vol . 11 , Page 61 , shall be dedicated and constructed. FACILITIES/SERVICES : Water : The project is within the Lathrop County Water District . Those parcels of land not already served by the water district can be served. Both Public Works and Local Health require public water for future development . Sewer: The Lathrop County Water District is in the process of constructing sanitary sewage facilities that will connect to the City of Manteca Wastewater Quality Control Facility. Construction will be completed April 1987 . This project area will be served by this system. Preliminary information from the Lathrop County Water District indicates that sewer allotment for this project is approximately 4. 5 lots per gross acre for unsewered, undeveloped residential lands. This allocation must be balanced with the R1-U designa- tion to ensure that an adequate number of sewer allocations are available for any proposed development . Both Public Works and Local Health will require public sewer for future development . Drainage : The project site is in Zone C of County Service Area No. 4, which provides terminal drainage to the project area. A ter- minal drainage main is now being constructed and is nearly completed. The terminal drainage must be completed prior to additional development in this area.
