This report is submitted to comply with Waste Discharge Requirements Order
No. 94-258 (WDRs). New WDRs (Order No. R5-2003-0020)were adopted on January 31, 2003.
All future monitoring and reporting will be in accordance with the newly adopted WDRs.
Two VOCs were detected, and Chloride concentrations exceeded the established concentration
limit at MW-3. No resampling was requested because the County has already verified impact to
the groundwater in the vicinity of MW-3. An Evaluation Monitoring Plan (EMP)was submitted
to the Board in October 2002, which outlined the County's approach to delineating the nature
and extent of the suspected release.
The field investigation of the EMP is scheduled for May 2003. The County will notify Board
staff at least two weeks prior to the start of field activities.
If you have any questions, please call me at (209) 468-3066.
Sincerely,
W.
