These materials <br />included: <br />A. Revised pages to insert into the Preliminary Closure and <br />Postclosure Maintenance Plan, Foothill Sanitary Landfill, <br />Stockton, California (2 copies) dated June 1994. <br />Based on review by the Board's financial assurances section, the <br />financial assurances mechanism meets the requirements of Title <br />14, California Code of Regulations (14 CCR), Division 7, Chapter <br />5, Article 3.5, Section 18282. <br />Pursuant to 14 CCR Sections 18270 and 18271, detailed review and <br />approval of closure postclosure maintenance plans is required by <br />the Board, the Solid Waste Local Enforcement Agency (LEA), and <br />the Regional Water Board to ensure consistency with the <br />applicable requirements of 14 CCR and 23 CCR. The Board acts as <br />coordinator for the review and approval pursuant to 14 CCR 18271. <br />This letter is a compilation of review comments regarding the <br />above Plans from the Board and LEA (San Joaquin County Public <br />Health Services, Environmental Health Division). The LEA <br />comments, dated September 14, are attached. The Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board (Central Valley Region) did not submit <br />review comments to the Board. <br />-- Printed on Recycled Paper -- <br />
