MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM 8 <br /> FOR FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL <br /> CLASS III LANDFILL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 5. Surface Water Monitoring <br /> Surface water shall be sampled upstream of the waste management facility at monitoring <br /> point S-2 (Background), and downstream of the site at monitoring point S-1, as shown in <br /> Attachment B. Surface water samples are to be collected after the first storm of the rainy <br /> season which produces significant flow and quarterly thereafter when water is present. <br /> Samples shall be collected from all stations and analyzed at the frequency and for the <br /> monitoring parameters specified in Table III. <br /> Surface water monitoring reports shall be submitted with the corresponding quarterly <br /> ground water monitoring and shall include evaluation of potential impacts of the facility <br /> on surface water quality and compliance with the Water Quality Protection Standard. <br />
