i <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Heath Department • State 18-Month Inspection Report <br /> Foothill Sanitary Landfill <br /> SWIS#39-AA-0004 <br /> The SWFP for the Foothill Sanitary Landfill allows for a permitted maximum tonnage of 1,500 tons per <br /> day(TPD). On May 12, 2006,the facility received 1540.05 TPD which exceeded the maximum allowed <br /> in the SWFP. This is a violation of the terms and conditions contained in the SWFP for Foothill <br /> Sanitary Landfill. <br /> It is recommended that the local enforcement agency inform the operator that enforcement action will be <br /> taken should the operator continue to violate the terms and conditions contained in the SWFP for <br /> Foothill Sanitary Landfill. <br /> 2. Section 20520—Signs. This standard requires that if a site is open to the public, there shall be an <br /> easily visible sign at the primary entrance of the site indicating the name of the site operator,the <br /> operator's telephone number, and, hours of operation; an easily visible sign at an appropriate point shall <br /> indicate the schedule of charges and the general types of materials which either(1)WILL be accepted or <br /> (2)WILL NOT be accepted. <br /> During the inspection it was observed that the facility did not have the operator's telephone number <br /> posted at the front entrance of the facility(see Figure 1). <br /> v"u <br /> "n �F <br /> w <br /> J' <br /> Figure 1.
