COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THAT WHEN THEY OPENED THEIR <br />DRINK, THEY NOTICED A HUGE ROACH FLOATING IN THEIR DRINK. COMPLAINANT TOOK IT BACK TO THE <br />FACILITY AND THE EMPLOYEE TOOK IT AND THREW IT AWAY AND SAID THAT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD BUILDING <br />THERE ARE ROACHES. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed 4 dead cockroaches throughout the facility. The pest control company has been servicing this <br />facility every 1-2 weeks recently. This facility requires similar service until cockroaches are not observed. Maintain a pest <br />free facility. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM-- LOCATION -- TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />observed several dead cockroaches - maintain a pest free facility <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
