. H. KLEINFELDER & ASSOCIATES File No. 5-2282-1
February 9, 1978
PAGE SEVEN
1. Continuous observation and testing during
site preparation, grading and placement of
Engineered Fill.
2 . Observation of footing excavations prior to
placement of concrete.
3 . Consultation as required during construction.
Our firm necessarily cannot assume responsibility for
construction compliance with our recommendations unless we have
been retained to perform the testing and inspection during
construction. In the event that our recommendations are
interpreted by others , we take no responsibility for such
interpretations unless we are afforded the opportunity to
review the situation and respond in writing .
LIMITATIONS
The recommendations made in this report are based on the
results of our field explorations, laboratory tests, and our
understanding of the proposed construction. The soils data
from which this report was prepared is based on the results
of five exploratory borings made for this investigation. It
is possible that variations in the soil conditions could exist
between or beyond the points of exploration. Therefore, if
any soil conditions are encountered during construction which
differ from those assumed in preparation of this report, our
firm should be notified so that we can review the situation
that exists and modify our recommendations if needed.
We trust this report presents the information required.
If you have any questions , please contact us .
Respectfully submitted,
J. H KLEINFELDER &`ASS/OCIATES
MVS :rls Richard M. Wary, C. E.
. cc: Client (2)
Diablo Engineers (4)
