. iIDFRFile No . S-2008-1
December 21, 1972
PAGE TWO
We understand that a package sewage treatment plant is to
be developed and the effluent disposed of in leach lines .
This report contains the following information:
1 . Results of percolation tests performed
at this site .
2 . Laboratory test data .
3 . Information on groundwater conditions .
4 . Evaluation of the percolation rates .
SITE CONDITIONS
The overall site is presently a walnut orchard approxi-
mately 2600 feet by 2500 feet in plan dimensions and slopes
slightly to the southwest corner . The walnut trees are spaced
approximately 40 feet apart and appeared to be better maintained
on the south portion of the orchard . An easement owned by
the East Bay Municipal Utility District runs diagonally across
the property in a northeasterly direction .
The ground surface is covered with grass south of the
easement and with mustard-greens north of the easement . The
ground surface at the time of our drilling was disced and very
moist to an approximate depth of 1 to 1-1/2 feet .
There are several old buildings in the northeast corner
of the property .
