WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION, INSURANCE AND SAFETY In all operations connected with the work herein specified, the Contractor shall observe the provisions of the Labor Code, Statutes of 1937, Chapter 90, enacted by the State Legislature, and all ammend- ments as enacted by the State Legislature to said code. The Contractor will be liable for any accidents or injuries to employees engaged in the work herein specified. INSURANCE The Contractor, previous to entering into a Contract to do the said work, shall take out and maintain in full force and effect during the period of the Contract, Compensation Insurance with an Insurace Carrier covering his full liability for compensation to any persons who may be injured in the carrying out of said Contract, and to the dependents of any person employed. The Contractor shall take out and maintain during the life of the Contract, the following Public Liability and Property Damage insurance in which the Owner and Engineer shall be named as an additional assured, and shall pro- tect the Contractor or any Sub-Contractors performing work covered by the Contract, and also the Owner and his representatives from claims for personal injury, including accidential death, as well as from claims for personal damage which may arise from the operations under this Contract, whether such operations shall be performed by the Contractor or any Sub-Contractor or by any one directly or indirectly employed by any of them, and the limit of liability for each insurance shall be as follows: a.
