It is best for the contactor to find the majority of the leaks using whatever method they can. Small leaks are best left to LDT crews to pinpoint than for the contractor to spend hours looking for these small leaks . 4 . Fast identification and leak location substantially reduce repair cost . General : 1 . Extraction plugs should be installed and sealed properly . 2 . A construction crew shall be onsite during the test period. This crew should be equipped to repair any portion of the system. 3 . The MDleak® method can test piping containing liquids .
