The Major Subdivison be approved based on the following fin- <br /> dings and subject to the attached conditions. <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1 . The proposed map is consistent with applicable General and <br /> Specific Plans because it is consistent with the Rural <br /> Residential designation of the General Plan and its related <br /> policies . No Specific Plan is involved. <br /> 2 . The design or improvement of the proposed subdivision is con- <br /> sistent with applicable General and Specific Plans because the <br /> project is consistent with applicable development requirements <br /> of the General Plan . <br /> 3 . The site is physically suitable for the type of development <br /> because no physical hazards exist , and it is compatible with <br /> surrounding development . <br /> 4 . The site is physically suitable for the proposed density of <br /> development because the site will support 14 residential sites <br /> as proposed by this project . <br /> 5 . The design of the subdivision or the proposed improvements are <br /> not likely to cause substantial environmental damage or <br /> substantially and avoidably injure fish or wildlife or their <br /> habitat because an Initial Study revealed no significant <br /> environmental impact that would result from the project . <br /> 6 . The design of the subdivision or the type of improvements are <br /> not likely to cause serious public health problems because no <br /> public health problems have been identified resulting from the <br /> proposal . <br /> 7 . The design of the subdivision or the type of improvements will <br /> not conflict with easements, acquired by the publ4c at large, <br /> for access through or use of property within the proposed sub- <br /> division unless it is found that alternate easements, for <br /> access or for use, will be provided, and that these will be <br /> substantially equivalent to ones previously acquired by the <br /> public because no public easements for access presently exist . <br />
