SAN_JOAQUIN <br />COUNTY <br />Greatness 9r0ws <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In 10:38 am <br />Time Out: 11:38 am <br /> <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: STOCKTON POPEYES Date: 02/07/2022 <br />Address: 4966 WEST LN, STOCKTON 95210 <br />Owner/Operator: QUIKSERVE CAJUN INC Telephone: (209) 477-4833 <br />Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00054662 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />EMPLOYEES WERE TOUCHING MONEY, ADJUSTING MASKS, TOUCHING THEIR HAIR & CLOTHES, THEN <br />HANDLING FOOD & DRINKS WITHOUT WASHING THEIR HANDS. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#5 Hands Clean/Properly Washed/Proper Glove Use <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed employee touching order screen and then making drinks without changing gloves. Employees <br />must wash hands or change gloves when changing tasks or as otherwise necessary to prevent contamination. This includes <br />making drinks after touching the order screen or handling clean unpackaged utensils such as cups and/or lids after handling <br />cash. Corrected on site, went over proper hand washing/glove use with manager. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Employees are required to wash their hands: before beginning work before handling food / equipment / <br />utensils as often as necessary, during food preparation, to remove soil and contamination when switching from working with raw to ready <br />to eat foods, after touching body parts after using toilet room or any time when contamination may occur. (113952, 113953.3, 113953.4, <br />113961, 113968, 113973 (b-f)) <br />#21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: The water at the nonadjustable hand sinks in the kitchen were 116 F for the drive thru hand sink and 114 <br />F for the back hand sink. Provide warm water between 100-108 F today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br />#30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed oil splatter on flour bags that are stored next to fryer. Provide cleanable and durable <br />barrier/splash guard between fryer and flour bags or store bags in a location so that they do not get splashed by oil or other <br />debris. Corrected within 5 day and email picture(s) of correction to dafonskaia@sjgov.org <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving.
