3. Fittings: <br />a. All FRP nozzles shall be plain end and match the size of connecting <br />pipe. <br />b. All PVC piping shall be a minimum of Schedule 40. See project <br />plan details for discharge assemblies. Discharge assemblies shall <br />conform to the force main connecting pipe. <br />4. Lifting Lugs: <br />a. All tanks shall have lifting lugs that are capable of withstanding <br />weight of tank with a safety factor of at least 2:1. <br />5. Access Risers: <br />a. Attached access risers shall be per the project plans and have a <br />minimum 30" diameter access opening supplied by tank <br />manufacturer. See sheet C4.0 for riser details. <br />b. Attached access risers shall be attached to access opening by <br />Contractor with adhesive supplied by tank manufacturer when <br />manufacturer supplies the attached risers. <br />6. Anti -floatation: <br />a. All anti -floatation calculations, straps, clamps, parts, precast <br />weights, anchor bolts, etc.. shall be by Xerxes. Manufacturer shall <br />determine the need for anti -flotation devices based upon the <br />information provided in the drawings. Anti -flotation devices, if <br />required, shall be manufacturer's standard precast concrete dead <br />men with the manufacturer's standard straps, anchor points and <br />turnbuckles. Manufacturer shall provide calculations establishing <br />the need, or not, for anti -flotation devices. <br />7. Pre -assembly <br />a. To the greatest extent possible materials provided by the <br />Contractor to the Supplier shall be installed in the tank prior to <br />delivery. <br />2.3 PUMPS <br />A. Pumps: As indicated on the Drawings. Refer to Sewer System Data Table on <br />Sheet C4.0) <br />1.
