Septic Tanks: As indicated on the Drawings. (Refer to Sewer System Data Table on Sheet C4.0.) Septic tanks: shall be a single-wall fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) Underwriters Laboratories -labeled, IAPMO approved, H2O traffic rated, underground storage tanks as shown on the drawings. The tank size, fittings and accessories shall be as shown on the drawings. Interior appurtenances shall all be provided and installed by the tank manufacturer (excluding pump, float switch support and pump discharge piping). Effluent filters shall be provided by the Contractor and installed in the factory by the tank manufacturer. No connections to the tank shall be made in the field except for piping connections to inlet and outlet piping and piping connections through risers. Risers shall be provided by the tank manufacturer and installed in the field. Access Opening: All tanks shall require at least two access openings, see project plans for access configuration. b. All access openings shall be a minimum of 30", complete with riser, lid, and necessary hardware. See project plans for access configurations. Inlet Piping: All tanks shall be equipped with factory -installed, inlet and outlet piping. See project plan details for discharge assemblies. Discharge assemblies shall conform to the force main connecting pipe. SP 26
